Brownsville Event Center and finishes at Louie's Backyard

Date: May 7, 2006 Start Location: Brownsville Event Center, Paredes Line Rd. Registration: 6:30AM - 7:30 (registration will close promptly...NO EXCEPTIONS!) Start Time: 8:00AM Cost: $20 Pre-Registration (before 4/14/06) $25 Late Registration (after 4/14/06) Meals: $6 Additional Meals Packet Pickup: Bicycle World of Brownsville Saturday, May 6, 2006 5:00PM - 8:00PM Distance: Approximately 35 miles + (extra loop for faster riders)
THE RULES: - All participants must wear a helmet or will not be allowed to participate.
- Riders must abide all traffic laws throughout the ride.
- Riders must stay on the far right shoulder lane at all times.
- A time cut-off will be established at each water stop point. (riders will be picked up by SAG support and taken to the next water stop).
- Wrist bands will be given at registration & packet pick-up...you must have band(s) to redeem meal(s) at Louie's Backyard.
- Bib & Bike frame #'s will be given to attach to jersey & bike. Your bib & bike number must match to pick up at "bike corral" located at Louie's Backyard. Only those with bib #'s will be allowed to pick up bikes.
THINGS YOU WILL NEED: - helmet
- water bottles or hydration pak
- bike shorts, bike gloves, etc.
- sun block, sun glasses
- extra tubes, patch kit, etc.
- own transportation back from the Island
- MONEY...cash bar available at Louie's Backyard
